The first away match in the history of Lydford Foxes takes place this Saturday as the U11s head to Horrabridge.

The training session will carry on as normal, so all players are asked to meet at Lydford Sports Field at 10am. The U11s will leave at 11am, ready for kickoff in Horrabridge at 12pm.

A number of parents will be driving to Horrabridge, so if you need to arrange transport for your children, let us know on Saturday. So far, Gavin, Jo and Ross have confirmed that they are driving.

If you’re intending to drive, we’ll leave at 11am. The pitch is at Horrabridge Primary School (PL20 7SZ) and there is plenty of parking available on site.

Anybody not taking part in the match will train as normal, as we continue our preparation for the Son-Rise Cup. Our participation in this tournament as been confirmed, so stay tuned for more updates.

In other news, work continues behind the scenes as we crack on with our application to join the Devon FA and apply for membership of the Devon Junior & Minor League. We’re also planning to enter more tournaments throughout the summer, as well as arranging more friendlies to give our players plenty of game time ahead of the 2017-18 season.

We’re also planning a recruitment drive as we seek to bolster our numbers. If you know any children who would make a good Fox, get in touch!

Come on you Foxes!
